SOG Flash II Tanto Satin Serrated

The SOG Flash II Tanto Satin Serrated. One of my favorite EDC knives, lightweight, assisted opening, piston lock, and a opening lock.

Whenever I go to explore some unknown place or I am out with expensive gear this is my knife of choice, it quickly deploys in case the need for self-defense arises. The tanto point is perfect for piercing tasks. I have only tested this with cardboard of course.

It rides deep in the pocket for a discreet carry. I like the opening lock, it acts more like the safety in a gun, preventing the knife from opening inside the pocket. Although is something to be aware of in case you need to deploy the knife quickly, certainly unlocking it is one more step. I carry it unlocked all the time, ready to deploy.

Very nice knife overall and reasonably priced in my opinion.
