Lionsteel T.R.E G10 Black (TRE-GBK)
This is the knife that I had for less than 24 hours!
Yes, I went to buy it on Monday June 19th, 2017 at around 4:00 PM at Coletelleria Collini. Awesome place!
I took some photographs of it and carried it during all that day until the end of my day, around 2:00 AM on June 20th, 2017. The next day (June 21st, 2017, at around 10:00 AM) I decided I wanted the full titanium version.
Why? You may ask. Well, short answer is that the G10 version felt too plasticky. Don’t get me wrong, G10 is a very good material as far as I know, it is very resistant and less expensive than titanium for example.
However after paying 195 EUR for it something really did not feel right, I mean it was the most expensive knife of my collection and it felt kind of cheap. I was not really satisfied so I went ahead and decided to get the full titanium version, which was 85 EUR more expensive, but well worth it in my opinion.
I considered the carbon fiber version as well but for me titanium was the one that felt like a 280 EUR knife.
You can have a look at my post Lionsteel T.R.E Grey Titanium (TRE-GY) to see the photographs and opinion.
